IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Information that may be requested during the loan application process:

Employment Income as reported on W-2 forms for the last two years and pay stubs from the last full month
Names and addresses of all employers for the past two full years
Self-Employment Income as reported on federal tax returns for the last two years and a current profit and loss statement
Secondary Income Income as reported on retirement, disability or social security income award letter
Rental Income Income as reported on federal tax returns for the last two years or as shown on a one-year lease agreement
Assets Current assets as reported on statements covering the last 60 days for all accounts, or
Financial institution names, addresses and account numbers for the following accounts or holdings: checking, savings, money market, CD, IRA, 401(k), mutual fund, stocks and bonds
Debts Financial institution names, addresses and account numbers, as well as monthly payments and current balances of all debts
Mortgages Financial institution names, addresses and account numbers, as well as monthly payments and current balances of all mortgages
Residency If currently renting, landlord’s name(s) and address of residence for the last year
Divorce Decree If divorced, information from the divorce decree including marital property settlements
Bankruptcy If bankruptcy has been declared, information from the bankruptcy declaration including petition, discharge and letter of explanation
Refinances In the case of a refinance application, information from last year’s paid property tax bill, the title policy and current mortgage balance(s)

 

Please note that some of the information supplied during the online application will need to be verified prior to closing. Therefore, it is advisable that you keep these items on hand. Once your online application has been submitted, we will be in contact with you to request the required information. Also note that you will need to present at least one of the following non-expired photo IDs at your closing: state driver’s license, state-issued ID, county-issued ID, or passport.
